Duplicating a Track #

When you have tracks that are very similar — for example songs from the same album with the same genre, instrumentation, and mood — you can duplicate an existing track to save time.

1. Find the track you want to duplicate in your list.
2. Click the blue Duplication button (to the right of the edit button)
3. A new track form opens with all the data from the original track pre-filled, except for the title and any attached files.
4. Enter the new track title.
5. Make any other changes specific to this new track.
6. Click Save

Tip: This is one of the biggest time-savers in Composer Catalog. If you recorded an album of 12 songs all in the same genre with the same musicians and publisher deal, add the first track fully and then use this button for the remaining 11.
