Composer Catalog’s left-hand navigation menu is your control center for everything in the application. The menu is organized into five main groups: Main Functions, Relationships, Metadata, Import, and Account.
Main Functions Under Tracks #
Track List — Your Main Catalog #
The Track List section is the main hub of Composer Catalog. From here you can view, search, filter, edit, export, bulk edit, and delete tracks.
- Sort your track list using the sort options at the top.
- Filters & Export — expand to see metadata filters and export options using the track filter
- Summary – View a catalog summary broken down by track type, publisher, genre, signed/unsigned, and PRO registration status. Click in the Summary section to instantly filter to those tracks.
Searching and Filtering #
- Type any word or phrase in the search box to search your entire catalog.
- Toggle to Title Only to search track titles only.
- Use metadata filters to narrow by genre, mood, publisher, signed status, and more.
- Click Save Filter to save a filter combination for instant future access.

Editing Tracks #
Click the track title to open the read-only detail view, or click Edit Track to open the full editing form.
Duplicating a Track #
- Find the track you want to duplicate.
- Click “Create a New Track with the Elements of This Track”.
- A new form opens with all data pre-filled except the title.
- Enter the new track title, make adjustments, and click Save.
Batch Editing #
- Check the checkboxes next to the tracks you want to edit.
- Click Edit Selected.
- Make your changes — they apply to all selected tracks.
- Click Save

Exporting #
- Click the Export button in the Track Filter section.
- Select which fields to include and choose CSV or Excel format.
- Click Export to download.
- Save field selections as an export template for future use.
Create New Track #
Opens the track creation form.
Templates #
Create reusable track templates to pre-fill common fields.
